    Hey,

I have created a signature in after effects and I need to import it into flash. My problem is that I can’t seem to find settings that will let me retain the transparency. When I export, I do it to a quicktime file, using the animation codec. Then I make sure to choose lossless w/ alpha, as well as changing all other settings that I can to “w/ alpha” and keep it unmatted. Should I be doing something different? Is there some specific way I need to import the file in flash?

    Thanks for the help.

i think your after effects settings are good for creating transparency… i’m not sure how flash interprets the alpha channel… you could try a png image sequence, i’ve had good results with pngs and software that doesn’t interpret alpha channels.

Use the export movie function and select flash FLV. In the settings there is an option to retain alpha. Make sure you use a background color in your comp similar to the bg of your flash movie.

    Good Luck,
