Transparence and masks.
Hi guys! I started working with AE some days ago, and i’m having some little problems. I have the 2 following clips (the car and the asphalt).

what i want to do is fade the borders of the car clip, so it seems appearing into the asphalt. It’s hard to explain, but if you look at this other image, you probably understand.

I’ve applied an elliptical mask. I want the black zone to let disappear the car and show the asphalt. So i can get a nice effect. But i have no idea how to do it!
Can anybody help me please?

It looks like you applied the mask to a solid layer above your car clip. You have a couple of options. You can apply that mask to the car clip itself (set to the Add mode) or you can leave it as-is and set the car clip to use the solid layer as an Alpha Inverted Track Matte. If you’re not familiar with track mattes then i suggest looking them up in the AE help files.
