Transparancy keyframes not rendered in RAM preview (AE CC 2014.2)
Hi!
I’ve been using After Effects CC (2014.2) for a couple of days now. For some reason it doesn’t want to render a RAM preview of a transparency animation. It ignores the change in transparency completely. What could cause this issue?

I’m currently using AE CC 13.2.0.49 on Mac OSX 10.10.2.
But strangely enough it started working again just now… I restarted the machine and that seems to have solved to problem. Any idea what could have happened? So we can close this topic as being solved for similar questions.

the issue could be linked to other processes that are running at the same time. When more applications are opened, AE seems to have trouble rendering transparency changes for RAM previews. Interesting…
The problem is not quite solved yet, but my conclusion for now would be: give AE as much room to breath as possible.
And yes, working with compressed video is never a good idea.
