transitions on still images not working after sequence setting change
Hi. Okay, mind has been blown.
I created a sequence of still images in FCS 6. However, I learned that my sequence settings were wrong. So, I changed them from 640×480 to the NTSC 3:2 settings.
Of course, this made all of my images distorted so I changed each image in PSD and recut the new image into the timeline (using 720×547 dimensions on stills).
Now I would like to put in all of the zillion transitions which I had in the original… however, the timeline is not allowing me more than 1 second. I realize I need handles with video but, as these are stills — and they are all the exact same length on the timeline as they were before I resized them in PSD, I don’t see where the handles thing would come into play….
clearly there is something I am not understanding and time is ticking away. The help of someone with knowledge on this forum would be greatly appreciated. No need to try and make me feel stupid first — I am already way ahead of you on that… thanks!
