Transition ruined my project – Can’t open session
I was in the middle of conforming a session in which I had a lot of things to fix manually. I got to a transition that came in incorrectly so I set out to recreate it within Resolve. In the process of recreating the transition I right-clicked on the transition and Resolve crashed. No problem because I’ve been saving often, but now I can’t open that session at all.
I can open Resolve, I can load my user, but when I try to load the project I was working on the loading process gets to 99% and then crashes.
I tried exporting and re-importing the project to no avail. I’m going to just redo everything, thankfully I was just an hour into the whole project.
Has anyone experienced this before? Any ideas on how to fix this or protect against this?

I experienced the same in a project imported via AAF from AVID.
The problem seem to be orphaned transitions that are impossible to delete or crash the app.
I check if I can still find it and send it to support.A slice of color…

That’s right Sascha. My project also originated in AVID and came across via AAF.
