Transferring Sony XDCAM EX Backups Properly?
I just got a 1TB external and I would like to dump all of my SOny XDCAM EX backups (the BPAVs) from one of my internal Mac Pro drives onto the new external. Using drag and drop it will start to copy but always get hung up about 10% of the way there. Is this not a correct method? How should I go about this?

Drag & Drop should work, but the best way is to use the Clip Browser. Go to Preferences & select “Perform CRC Check,” which checks the footage to make sure it is copying properly, and select Copy All from the drop-down menu.
