  Transferring Software-101

  Now that I’m old(er) and CRS has taken over I ask for your help. A Mac Pro is arriving soon, if the boat doesn’t sink, and my task of reloading the programs from my MBP to the MP will be a challenge, to say the least. Programs from Apple, Adobe and others I use in my video and audio production are not as current as today but still function well enough for what I do. The MBP uses 10.5.8. I imagine the MP will come with Lion or Mountain Lion.

  So before I start gathering rocks to weigh me down when I jump off the cliff after attempting this software transfer, I would greatly appreciate any input which will delay my demise.

  I will also post this on Adobe and the Cow, which I’m told is a no, no but feel that more input is better than less.
