Transfering Transparent from After Effects to FCP Studio
Im trying to create snow over text and another movie clip in final cut pro. I created my snow using the foam effect in after effects 7. is there anyway to transfer that snow to final cut pro ( like tranfsering an object with an alpha channel in photoshop) so that the snow will appear over my text and movie clip in final cut studio instead of coming in matted to a black background?

Render out to “Millions of Colors+” using a codec that can contain an alpha channel, for example QT Animation. Then you can import that directly into FCP.
