I have been using FCP 6 for 2 years and just recently started having trouble with the log and transfer process. It works fine for small files, but will not transfer longer/larger ones. It appears to transfer the file, but does not complete the process when done. I havn’t changed any of the settings that I am aware of and am at a loss why this is happening or what I need to do to fix it. Can anybody help?

This sounds like the bug that causes the clip to be truncated if you do anything else in FCP while the log and transfer tool is transcoding.

Try setting it running and just not touching the computer at all.

If it is that you should find it works fine.

    best wishes

I haven’t had this issue, so I’m not sure on the fix. I would try to delete the plugin and reinstall it if you can’t find a fix.

I actually found a forum that addresses the issue and has at least 4 different solutions, so I am trying them out now…
