Transfer single/multiple Comps between Projects?
Hi everyone!
I feel that reusing stuff is already punished by AE from the start as there is no copypasting a comp into another project. Sometimes its less painful to just create yet another arrow / sprocket / lightbulb animation.
So I created this Script and have been using it happily for some years now. Its purpose is to transmit a selection of Elements (Comps being the most logical elements) with all their dependencies from one project into another. It is useful to create and maintain a custom asset library. Or just take this one arrow / sprocket / lightbulb from your last project.
The script only uses AE-Commands so it is relatively safe. How fast it works depends only on your projects sizes as the have to be opened.
I hope its okay to make this sort of ad-post. But downloading is free on gumroad, so the idea is helping people. And mabe get famous.
