Transfer sequence from After Effects to Avid?
Hi Everyone!
A Co-worker of mine, cut a reel in After Effects. Now he’s handing it off to an editor who only works in Avid. Trying to figure out the best way to do this.
So far, I’m advising him to send it to premiere. There seem to be more options in terms of exporting EDLs. Is this even possible? What worries me is recreating the media in avid.

Your best bet is to send back to Premiere and have it export an AAF. Import the AAF then link to the source clips via AMA. Then “try” a “relink to selected”.
