Transfer clips from mini dv in NTSC and PAL AND … LP mode
I used to have two SONY mini dv camcorders, one NTSC one PAL. Both had generated a good amount of tapes, shot in SP and LP mode. Now the cams are dead or gone, I have no way to transfer the clips off the tapes. Most decks have NTSC only, or, can’t play LP tapes. One discussion here back in 2008 had someone mentioned the JVC BR-HD50 or the SONY DSR-45 could play LP tapes. However, both user manuals specifically said the LP mode is not supported. Could anyone help to confirm before I spend $300+ on an used machine? Or, if there are any better suggestions? Thanks!!
