transcoding?
I keep getting asked if clients can shoot on the Canon MK2 series which shoots 108060 as well as stills.
How do I convert the files to work over here in PAL land?

Convert the H.264 files to ProRes in Compressor. Simple as that.

Issues is that the camera shoots 29.97, and the OP wants PAL. I think Compressor can do that too, and the footage will be time shifted.
