    Hello!

I am in a bit of a weird situation where I am going to be getting nearly a dozen drives with a project shot entirely on the RED. Here’s the kicker: I need to transcode this to ProRes 422 and these will be used as my master files. Due to legal entanglements, I CANNOT go back to these RED files – and I have 10 days to transcode it all into something I can create my finished product with before these drives are reclaimed.

I’m cutting in Final Cut 7. What’s the best workflow to use for this?

Use native tools from RED: Redcine-x for 1st light color correction and ProRes 422 HQ conversion.
