I’m looking at transcoding our all our footage to ProRes422HQ and would love advice on using the correct settings in Prelude. I didn’t see ProRes as a preset but it is and I’m just unclear on which it is. Any help would be most appreciated.

You can create your own ProRes presets via the QuickTime option in Transcode. You can also import them from your AME Documents folder.

    Thanks Kevin!

At this point, I’ve decided to stick with using the native format.

But I’m still not finding how to create my own presets via the Quicktime option in Transcode. If I’m in Prelude, select Ingest, Transfer, Transcode and then select Quicktime as the format, what should be the correct Preset be? I’ve done an extensive search for a tutorial that would help, but I haven’t found it.
