transcoding from PRORES 422 to PROXY PRORES
I’ve a problem….
why if I recompress my SEQUENCE from PRORES 422 TO PRORES PROXY the size remain the same and when I recompress the same sequence with the same parameters but using PRORES LT codec, the size drastically decreases…?
Assets in the prores 422 sequence are in PRORES 422 FORMAT !SHOULDN’T BE PRORES PROXY SMALLER THAN PRORES LT….?
Pls, in this case, dont tell me that it is a nonsense to recompress to PRORES PROXY…. 😉

Yes, ProRes Proxy is much smaller. Did you use the Media Manager?
