    Transcoding an ongoing project in avid 6.5

    Hi,
    I’ve been editing a project imported from a Canon 7d. The process has been pretty slow.
    Can I transcode now, in the middle of the editing process? If so how do I do it?

    If you imported, then the media is most likely already is some form of Avid native media. If you are AMA linked, then that is a different workflow. In order to best answer, we would need to know which one was actually used. What does the icon look like on the clips you are using?

    I’m not near the editing pc right now but 99% sure I imported.
