Transcode in Canon60D
Posted by Paty Bananita on June 9, 2011 at 8:05 pmHi guys, I’m a liitle new here with Avid.
I want to transcode all my DSLR footage to DNxHD but I don’t know in what resolution.
I have from DNxHD 36 to DNxHD 175 X MXF options.
Thanks a lot!

June 11, 2011 at 11:20 pmBrendan, thanks for helping.
It’s going to be for YouTube or Vimeo.
So, what should I do?
Thanks a lot!

June 12, 2011 at 5:28 pmThe higher the number, the larger the files/less compressed. And the converse is true as well.
For your footage/footage, the sizes between 115-145 are decent. 175/220 is probably a waste of space. While the ‘X” resolutions (220x) contains 10 bits of video space, it probably won’t make much of a difference.
