Transcode appearing as link
Hi guys,
I’ve been batch transcoding footage into DNx185 for an edit.
One of the varicam cards is showing some of the newly transcoded media as linked.
I’m not sure if this is a graphical bug, but I can’t seem to convince avid to not read it as linked, even if I transcode the media again it appears as linked.
The clips playback fine and have shown no problems other than they appear linked.
Would love to know if anyone else has experienced this or if I’m missing something obvious.

Where did you put the transcoded files? In any old folder? Avid will only see files as Avid native media if in an Avid MediaFiles folder. It’s quite possible to transcode to an Avid codec and link to the files as usual. I imagine this is what you are seeing.
