Hello, i have a project the asks for a a train station type font presentation…

    arriving…..madrid
    arriving…..london
    arriving……..paris

the destinations must kind of flip down to reveal the new destination. i think the letters should be split in 2 and the top would flop down revealing the new font on the reverse side.

does anyone have a quick fix or any suggestions on to how a guy would design a font presentation like this?

    i appreciate any help…

I don’t know what you mean by the letters should be split in 2, but I would approach this by building all individual elements in Illustrator (letters on plastic cards). You could probably find a “train station” font somewhere. Then just simply animate the 3d rotation with motion blur in AE. You could set up one comp with the move and duplicate it for each of the different titles.

(sorry if this is too basic)
