i’m trying to plan out a music video that i’m shooting next month and i want to be able to have the footage i shoot (which will be greenscreened of the artist then automated via photoshop with the “photocopy” filter) look like it is on actual photocopied paper, i.e. when it comes out of the machine it shakes a little bit, etc.

is there a decent way to track this motion (not just the x and y movement) and apply it to the footage? if anyone can lead me in some direction i’d greatly appreciate it. thanks a bunch.

Put some +’s on a sheet of paper and copy it. Track the +’s as they come out of the copier. You might want to start at the end and track backwards. Have AE guess at the last few frames where your track points won’t be visable. Then just clean the track up a little (if needed) and apply to a null, parent your footage to that null.
