Tracking without tracking After Effects
Hello guys! I’m really new here. This place looks absolutely friendly.
I have been searching on the web without success for something very … peculiar.
I hope to find some enlightenment on this issue here.
The problem: I am editing the same video in 12 languages.
In the video, there are words that “appear” and “disappear” frequently.
And I need that the translations for the words “appear” and “disappear” at the same time the original word does. They cover the original words as if they are the original ones.
Tracking does not solve my problems because the original words do not move, they only “appear” and “disappear”.
You can see what I’m talking about in these attached images.
I’m not sure if there is a way to “track” these words in After Effects with or without a script.
Tracking does not work because when the words hide, the track only changes the position aleatory.
This video has a HUD that changes the word according to the various actions that are taken.
Translating each word manually will take too much time for me.
Is there a way to use After Effects to detect it automatically, and link this with the translated word?
I can’t figure out what I can do, or if there is something that I can do.
Thanks for your attention.
