  • Tracking video to a Picture frame – Should I corner Pin ?

Posted by Ace Billet on July 6, 2005 at 12:14 pm

I have some footage of a man carrying a picture frame in the street, shot on hand held camera.
Now, I want to put some video inside the frame he’s carrying.
The shots are moving, with some zooms and pans.

I was thinking of using Corner Pin for this, and tests so far went quite smooth.
Does anyone think of a better way ?
Plus, is there a differnce between AE’s native Corner pin and Cycore PowerPin ?

    cheers

Hi dave, how do you transfer the motion tracking data to the file that you want to be inside the frame(in this case)? I know how to use the tracker but not how to then apply the data to what i want to be tracking? I was trying to do this the other day.

    Cheers, Hayden
