I need to track this shot. It’s difficult, and nothing is working. Eventually, I will need to replace a screen or three.

Ae Corner Pin tacking falls apart instantly, Mocha, while I am no expert, falls apart too.

I may end up just placing it by hand. What’s the best way to distort the incoming screen replacement to recreate the fisheye bend?

    Track me

    Cheers,

    Jeremy

[Jeremy Garchow] “What’s the best way to distort the incoming screen replacement to recreate the fisheye bend?”

First, remove the fisheye with Optics Distortion (check “Reverse lens distortion”), then track and comp, then re-apply the fisheye with Optics Distortion (duplicate your prior Optics Disortion effect and uncheck “Reverse lens distortion.”).

I don’t use Mocha very often at all, but if you by chance have Mocha Pro, you can use the Lens Module.

    Thanks.

I scrapped it. It was beyond my expertise, although I learned a lot about Mocha. It turned out it was working. It would have been an awesome shot, but I had to move on.
