    tracking problem

    Hi

    I am trying to track the hand of an image sequenced animated plasticine man, I want him to carry a tray, that’s on another layer. But when I try to track the man, the tracker will only do this to the images in the “layer” viewer panel and not the main comps viewer panel, here the man has had 2 position keys so the man moves left to right. Therefore the tracking is not working. I cant seem to track it in the viewer that I want.

    Any help most appreciated.

    Thanks..

    I think the problem was one of having to nest the comp before tracking and then of also having to set the tracking to RGB. I have not used tracking much and I think spending more time on tutorials will not be time wasted.
