Alright again I’m sure this is simple but in the change from AE 7 to AE CS3 I’m a bit confused. What I have done is applied the tracking data from Layer 1 to a null object. I need to attach the tracking data from that null object to Layer 2’s mask position property. Basically I just need the movement of layer 2’s mask to match that of Layer 1’s tracking data. I would have normally used the pick whip and just created an expression but it seems to be different in this version. Then again maybe it’s just me. Somebody please help. Thank you.

You can apply to the *layer position* property, but not to the *mask shape* property. There’s no “mask position” property.

Search the COW for “track” and “mask”, or maybe add “vertices” to find a script that should help if you want to apply tracking data to the mask vertices.

Thanks for that. Wasn’t sure if there was another way but it worked great none the less.
