tracking an animated obj in after effects
I’ve been trawling the net, and can not find an answer to this question…I have an animated obj figure (walking/Dancing), and I want to add a live action talking mouth. After effects and Mocha, seem to only be able to track live action. Is there a way to track a models movement, in order to achieve this effect. Any help would be most appreciated!

Within AE’s tracker – slioghtly hidden – is the face tracker.
Draw a mask around your animated character’s head and the face tracker tools become more obvious.

Thanks for the response…I’m using CS6, and I don’t think ‘Face Tracker’ is available on that format.
Any other suggestions?

Ah – hmmm… could you post a still of the footage? It’s likely that Mocha’s planar or tracking two points in AE is going to be the only options.
