tracking a concert in audition
i need to track a concert, i was wondering what tools to use and which format to work in… i also may need to make global adjustments, or possibly track by track. i dont have the material yet… most important is how do i track this for cd???

What kind of music are you recording? What experience do you have with micing techniques? How many track recorder are you using and what kind of access do you have to the stage? I would use Audition and record to a laptop if you have access to one also global editing is the last thing I would do … In most cases there are no “shortcuts” when editing for quality audio, one must spend the time to do it right … You want to break things down to tracks for a CD anyway so I would edit each tune by itself ………………..
