    Hey guys!

So i’m having some trouble, what i am trying to do is make a machine gun shoot tracer rounds (the glowing bullets) but i want them to be represented in 3d space. So i thought my only hope is particles, but i am having some troubles with particular. Im not sure how to do just a burst of particles, or if thats even possible?!

Basically what I’m asking is how would i go about making a quick fire burst of particles?

    Thanks in advance, pobajobs.

You would just keyframe the emitter “Particles/sec” for a quick fire burst of particles, and for your project would want to change the Emitter > Direction property to “Directional”
