Tracer rendering issues
Hi,
I’m using Mograph Tracer to create a kind of swirly thing (like a street fighter special move building up!) and I’m having trouble.
When I play it in the viewport it looks fine, and when I render a still in the viewport it’s fine.
But then when I render my final output (.tiff seq) the Tracer acts funny. It’s like there is a mistake – Best to view my image or get the project file (below)
Project file: https://www.sendspace.com/file/npmgq6
see the image: https://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=24q8dfq&s=3
Now, I know tracer can be a bit funny since it’s effect is always recalculated on the fly in the viewport. So sometimes I have to skip to frame 0, go to frame 1, then back to frame 0 again to ‘clear’ the traced points. I’ve tried this kind of thing but it’s not helping.
It’s as if there are some extra points at the start of my traced lines that won’t go away. I’m using ‘limit’ on the tracer by the way, and also ‘reverse sequence’ which I needed to do to get the taper right on the Sweep Nurbs.. can’t remember if the sequence was reversed in the tracer or the sweep’s settings actually..
Any pointers appreciated,
thanks
John
