Topo map in the shape of letters?
Hello all, I’ve been trying to create custom topo map elements by using the terrian material, and then chopping the material into slices, and then making splines out of those slices. I love the look. However, is it possible to extrude the terrain material in the shape of a specific letter? Then to have terrain inside that letter shape? Not sure if that makes sense…
So, if I wanted the word “MAP” to be extruded, but the surface to be filled with terrain lines like on a topo map. Any pointers?

If I understand I think the best way to do it would probably be to use a boolean object to cut the letters.
