    Hi

I am using Premiere Pro CC v7.2.1 (4).
I was checking out the Top edit (keyboard shortcut Q) which cuts off a clip from the beginning of the clip to the playhead.

My question is, is it right that it also cuts off the frame that the CTI currently resides on?

Normally, on the timeline, I would go to the frame that I would want my clip to start from. Now I would want to delete everything to its right. Q will help but it also deletes the frame I chose as the beginning.

Is there a way or do I simply have to move the CTI a frame back & then press Q. That would be counter-intuitive.

    Thanks.
