I’m almost too embarrassed to ask. What is tone at peak zero in the digital/Vegas world? I suspect 12db, but I just want to check.

    Thanks,
    Ian

The “industry standard” (and I use the term loosely) says it’s supposed to be -20dbfs (decibels full-scale) but I’ve seen it spec’d as high as -12. YMMV.
Google an article titled “The Deadly Analog to DV Audio Level”.
As I recall, it dealt with this issue and more.
