To merge or not to merge
I’m importing 600 picts to motion and I get a pop up window asking me if I like to merge the layers. I just selected all layers, but it crashed. Before I try it again I thought it might be good to ask the experts how to do it. I like to just make simple moves on the picts and export a QT movie with them all, provably around an hour long.

If you don’t need your pics to be layered then just click on the import button or choose “import Merged Layers.” Hope this helps.

What happens them, does it create a sequence with all the pictures running for a certain time each?

By default, artwork is the length of the timeline. Hope this helps.
