To acquire in mpg or avi or quicktime
Hello i have to acquire footage from a cassette which was shot on jvc 251, now yesterday i had acquired footage at 720p but frame rate was 50fps. It was in avi format. Cineform . SO now i have to get dump again as many shots were missing from footage. Now i want to import directly through premiere and the guy says to acquire in mpg format. So my basic question is , in which format should i acquire footage from jvc deck which will result in minimum change to the original footage
