I’ve got an EDL where the editor put in some .PSD file titlecards.
Is it possible in Resolve to swap them (manually) for TIF or DPX files without effecting the timing/dissolves?
I have tried to edit the EDL to point to the TIF’s but had no luck.

Resolve does see the TIF’s and they are also easy to convert to DPX (right click -> convert format)
My question is not so much about the formats but more about how to exchange blank shots with other files.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it’s not possible to do basic alpha channel composit for titles in resolve, is it?

I would love if in the future Resolve would get just the most *basic* compositing features.
