I created titles in photoshop and exported them as png files. They look fine in preview, photoshop, and other software, but for some reason, once imported into premiere, they have pixelated edges. I tried exporting in tif, jpeg, but the same problem occurs. I’ve never had this happen before past. The image size is significantly bigger than the screen, so it’s not a size issue. Can someone tell me what the problem might be? Thanks.

I’ve looked online and it seems no one has an answer to this. Maybe just a glitch in premiere? It doesn’t happen in Final Cut.

Have you tried exporting your sequence to see if it’s just playback or if it does affect your final output?

It could depend on your display settings, how close you are sitting to the screen, sequence settings….

PNG and TIFF work for me. I try to have the graphics made at the same frame size and 72dpi is fine if the graphics don’t need to be resized. 150 dpi is usually plenty if I do need to resize.

    good luck
