Title tool layering
I am trying to put a box behind some text. I have read the avid xpress pro help on how to do it but when I have the selection tool and click the object and get the corner boxes telling me that layer is highlighted I have no command to bring anything anywhere. When I double click I get the Title curser and if I right click I get options but nothing to bring to front or send to back. Am I missing something?

Select your box, then go to the menus across the top of your screen and select Object–>Send To Back. This will put it behind your text.

I personally think it’s nice to post back when a question you’ve asked has been solved–if it’s been solved by someone’s suggestions, note which ones worked and if you solved it on your own post what you did. That way anyone else searching for the same problem will have the answer.
There’s no closing of threads–the administrators are the only ones who can do that (as far as I know), and I’ve only seen it happen when there’s a violation of forum rules or when things get out of hand (and that’s rare…very rare. I’ve seen it happen maybe twice in a year). Otherwise, check the rules for more details. And welcome!! Have more questions? Ask!

Actually, welcome. As Promoboy said, it’s always nice to hear how suggestions worked (and even better if you found a different path from the suggested ones). I personally don’t know everything, and it’s nice to hear the problem-solving thought process.
