  Title template with blurry background

  I’m trying to build a title template that is just a text box that blurs the image behind it. Very similar to this discussion over here.

  So I clone my Title Background, blur it, crop it, and it looks great. The problem is now when I move the title, or add a transition, it carries everything underneath it with it.

  So how can I create a text box that blurs the image behind it without carrying the entire image? The Alex 4d transparent blur title can do it, but I can’t figure out how to recreate it.
