I have made a film that will play on a the IDFA next week, but I have a mojor problem. I have rendered the image and sound as one layer. When i put the subtitles (created in PPR2 titler) above in video layer 2 or 3 the image below shifts 1 frame up. And when the titles are gone i shifts one frame down again. In the beginning I didn’t saw it, but now i see every time I create a title it gives a shock.

I also had the following problem (already asked here on the forum 2 days ago:) I filmed in 24p AGDVX100 a pal. Now in Ppr2 sometimes it drops a frame and sometime a frame stands still. It is editing at quarter and half frames as well. So I see some times 1/4 frame black etc… I think I have a mojor problem and hope somebody can really help me out…

What can I do with this. Please help me out?!

Greetings ton I hope to hear from you guys soon.

is the shift happening during real-time preview or after rendering? The image may shift during preview. Try rendering the work area or render a section as AVI and play that and see if problem persists.

Can’t answer the frame rate issue.

Sorry for the late reply, of course the frame shifting was as well after te rendering…
Eventually I solved this by putting between evry title (of more than 300) a blank title , so premiere thought it was one big title…>

The problem of 24 p in a pall project (where it was losing sometimes frames and sometimes put one frame twice) I didn’t solve.

    Thanks for helping.

Shoot in 25p instead of 24p if you are going to PAL
You can’t visually tell the difference between 24p and 24p like you can with 30p and 24p. It alleviates any pulldown issues.
