I’ve searched the last six months of this forum as well as Adobe’s site with no clear results. The templates do not exist on my hard drive. I’m afraid to re-install because of Adobe’s new licensing junk, and who’s to say the install would work right the second time when it didn’t the first.

My install was an upgrade to the Production Studio Premium. I’ve been upgrading fairly regularly since Premiere version three or so, and all the way of course through the Pro series.

By the way, the templates were in place in PPro versions 1 and 1.5, but for whatever reason, don’t exist in version two.

Oh and before anyone asks, C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0\Presets has only one sub-directory, and that is Styles. No other files or folders in the Presets directory.

If that was not clear, the styles section of the titler works fine, but the templates section doesn’t. When I type Control+J in the titler window, the templates pane opens, but nothing twirls down when I click the arrow to the left of either yellow folder.

    The clarity is 100%.

I am afraid you have no other choice than reinstall. All I can add is that I had to reinstall (for different reasons). I also have Production Studio Premium and all I had to do is the automatic re-activation on the Web without any problem.

I would reccomend a reinstall and (most) of the time a re-install does not require activation. Did you purchase a boxed version of this app or did you download the app from Adobe’s website. For the latter scenario, I have seen this occur multiple times.
