Hi, this is one of my favourite reels, I downloaded it from the demoreels forum in the COW. I hope it is OK for me to re-link it for this exercise?
Anyways, he/she makes otherwise boring supers really interesting. Like the bit where it says “BILL RUSSELL” and there is like a sort of light blob moving across it. I’ve tried replicating the effect, I’ve followed the tutorial on “flowing titles” but I still can’t get it. I assume there is some fractal noise? displ layer? compound blur? etc. etc.?
Any tips to point me in the right direction? I also like with the letters of “evolution” come in with sort of glowie look.
