  • Tip: using multicam clips as self-updating sequences

Different instances of a compound clip don’t update if I modify one of them.
Sometimes it’s a good thing, preventing unwanted changes in previous projects.

But if I wanted that some compound clips could self-update in several projects ?

    – I can create a compound clip in my event.
    – Then I copy-paste my sequence in this compound clip: video, titles…etc.
    – Right-clic on this compound clip > make multicam clip
    – I now have a multicam clip with a single compound clip containing my sequence.
    – I can edit this multicam clip wherever I want that future changes will be applied.

    – When I open the multicamclip, then the compound inside, all changes I make will be updated in every project where I have edited this multicam clip.

    Maybe this can be useful.
