    Timeline Thumbnails Missing

    Does anyone have any idea how to get the thumbnail previews back? My new model stupid Lacey drive went to sleep (stopped it now from pref settings) and locked everything up. When I restarted again this occurred. The timeline is playing fine as is everything else. Some of the thumbnail images are actually still there (most aren’t). I have tried reconnecting and restarting with no change.

    Shut FCP. Find the FCP thumbnail cache file on the scratch disk and delete it. Start FCP and the thumbnails will be regenerated.
