timeline settings (mixed formats) for dvd export
Hello,
I finished a shoot for an instructional DVD that went very different then planned. Now I have a bunch of different formats and somehow need to get everything together. I’m pretty new to final cut.
Part of the footage was shot with a JVC GD-100 GY-HD 100 in HDV 25P. The other cameras used where a Panasonic DVX-100 and Canon GL2 (Anamorphic 16-9, 50i), and a canon HV-30 (HDV 25P).What is the best way to combine all these in one timeline for export to PAL and NTSC DVD?

Hi David,
If you go to PAL 16×9, I think the best may be to drop all your footage in a PAL Anamorphic Upper First sequence. Choose what ever codec that gives you RT preview.
When your are ready for exporting set it to Proress and check “Render all YUV material in High Precission” and “Motion Rendering: BEST”.
