Though I’m not having any problems it occurred to me I may not have my timeline set to the optimal format.

I am importing footage from a Canon 7D (shot at 24FPS). I am importing using the Canon plug in converting to ProRes 422 LT.

So simply stated…how should I configure the Easy Set Up?

    Thanks

    Hi Mike,
No need for Easy setups when you can Conform the sequence to the clips setting.
Drop a clip in any sequence and when FC asks you about conforming click YES.

Mike, do you have a capture card with which to monitor your footage?

Not quite sure what you mean…

[Mike Petty] “Not quite sure what you mean…”

Then it’s probably a no. Then as Rafael says, you don’t need an easy setup. You would need one if you have a i/o card.
