Timeline selection
Something has changed…
My timeline selection is not persistent. Whenever I click within the selection or press pause while playing back the selection shrinks to nothing. What did I do?

The timeline selection always collapses for me (Movie Studio 10) if I left-click in the timeline.
Do you mean the loop region collapses? This can be controlled on the Editing tab in preferences: “Collapse loop region when no time selection is present”.
