Activity Forums Adobe After Effects Timeline oddity….?

    the only thing i can think of (and i haven’t yet fiddled with ae7) is that it’s showing you (in some way) different specs of each layer.

    i think this because it shows you audio waveforms, and im guessing (because i can’t see what u did) the way it hacks up the layers are things that need rendering ie footage that has stuff done, or rendered material

    now i could be completly wrong, it could be secretly killing you through hypnotism, but thats my guess.

    check your timline and see if it corresponds

    I’ve also had some problems in the AE timeline while ram previewing. It’s different than what you’re seeing. When the time indicator runs across the timeline [as it’s playing,] it leaves behind it a trail of time indicators, just it’s grey.

    My guess: it’s a bug in AE 7’s timeline. I don’t know what else to think. (BTW, I’m running it on G4 Mac.)

    ive had that problem in 6.5 it’s one of those, your computers to buys processing the renderd video to keep the time indicator moving smoothly kinda thing.

    his seems a little more i dunno controled, the change in color of levels bar and the appearnace of waveforms
