Timeline Not Reading Picture Events
I’ve got footage from my cell phone–HD footage_-which is not being read by timeline. There’s only audio. Sometimes bits and pieces of shot pops up but generally the screen is black. Any ideas why this might be happening?

Use “MediaInfo” to see what codec the video was created with.

Then obtain that codec (and only that codec) from the manufacturer and install it. You may need to use a video conversion program if your cell phone uses some strange format.

Cellphones uses the weirdest codecs known to man…lol
