Timeline footage replace not working
I’m working in AE 2023 and when I hold option to replace a comp clip inside a comp, the layer just goes blank. My footage is sent from Premiere so it’s already in a comp when I use it in AE.

Silly question, but did you select the target layer so that it is highlighted before you option drag the new footage onto it?
